HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience from start to finish. AWFUL customer service, including their employee at the pier that screamed profanities at the upset customers. Don’t use this company, you’ll greatly regret it!

Very poor information, 40 minute walk from stop 11 to get to ferry tour, then waited over an hour for the connection back to Times Square. Then the next day, we did the uptown tour and the bus broke down at Central Park. Felt I was ripped off.

Started with a day time route first. The tour route was odd and often came with "(monument or landmark) is near here" or "it'stwo blocks that way". Audio didn't work for some folks, or at least correctly. My son's audio volume would randomly go up and down. We did night time route that night, and it was an outright nightmare. We got there at 7:30 for the 8:00 bus. We waited in the cold forever and at 8:10 I asked when the bus would arrive. The guy said "soon, ok, stop asking". That was the first time I asked, so not sure why he got so cranky. Then at 8:20 bus finally arrived. Got loaded, waited until 8:30 with a full bus. Listened as guys talked about how they want to go home and didn't like dealing with "these people", and wanted to figure out how to get home by 10 because "this is stupid". We asked 8:35 when we would leave, and they said this was the 9:00 bus. We called them out, they said it was because the 8:00 bus left early. We told them we had waited since 7:30, they said the bus must have left right before that. We didn't feel like fighting even more and just waited until we finally left. So the "9pm" bus that we somehow got on left at 8:45. Audio had wrong language, tried changing the channel and it wouldn't change. Was eventually able to get the channel to reset by unplugging/plugging the headphones in. When we crossed the river we suddenly turned around, went off the route, had no more monuments or landmarks we saw, straight shot back and were done in maybe 40 minutes. They then canceled the actual 9pm bus (saw them tell people in the street), and I guess the guy made it home by 10. We reported it to the company, and all they did was offer another night with no apologies.

I am an upstate New Yorker and had always wanted to try the open top NYC bus tour. I should have booked with the other guy. We did more sitting/stopping to pick up others than we did touring. It took far longer than presented (one of us missed our train back home). The seats were excruciatingly uncomfortable and we were never given head phones, didn't even know about the headphones until we were almost done. We weren't given a map either to know where to get off to get back to Grand Central and Penn stations.

It was a Monday and too long between buses. They only ran two boats out to Statue of Liberty so was unable to do it.

This is perhaps the worst company I have ever seen. We waited for an hour to get on a bus and clearly they are overselling . 3 buses passed by and we couldn’t get on the bus. Also their costumer service sucks , we had to be redirected to three people in order to have the ticket voided. Your rivals Big Bus are much better. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Avoid this company!!! We purchased 2-day passes for our family of 5 several weeks before we arrived in NYC (because there is a discount to do so). I read and researched many tour companies. The reason I chose this company was because of the real time app. IT DOESN'T WORK. You never know how many busses they have or where they are. The wait times are all LONG. They don't stick to the schedule, bc it's NYC traffic and Top View doesn't care about their customers. There are salespeople all over Times Square overselling their busses so they are ALL crowded and packed with people with long lines-- even the nighttime tours. The lines were wrapped around the block! The busses are messy. Top View is misleading about the Statue of Liberty boat cruise. The bus drops you off A MILE away from the dock. You either have to walk it or get a taxi/uber-- really? A bus stop a mile away?? And the boat was PACKED with people. We had no place to sit. If you want to go to the top deck, you have to pay an additional fee. The "free bike tour" is not free. It's an additional "free" two hours when you book the bikes. The upper bus route only runs once an hour and from 10am-4pm. Not flexible at all. We ended up only using the bus passes for one day and the company is refusing to refund our money for the unused day. They have worded their contracts just right to wriggle out of the credit card company's ability to go after them as well. We never got our money back. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, just that they get their money. They hit you with hidden fees and omit crucial information anywhere they can. Avoid, avoid, avoid this company!!

I enjoyed the service. I bought the 2 day pass along with the boat cruise. Everything needs updating! The PA system on my bus and boat were sketchy- coming in and out! The drivers were very accommodating and friendly. I didn’t navigate how to find the pick up areas well, so that was frustrating for me. Otherwise I got my $75 worth!

Scam. Rip-off. Health hazard. We were told that customers would be masked, or that on top, customers would be safely spaced. We have a small child that has not been vaccinated. I called for a refund, and they weren’t interested that we were lied to. Driver had no mask. Customers had no masks inside bus. Quoted some bogus no-refund policy and offered no help, no solution, no refund.

I think I just got unlucky with the top view ticket sales lady I happened to talk to on Tuesday July 6th 2021, around 10am in Times Square. I’d been interested in trying the hop on hop off tour with this company, after having a decent experience with their night tour a couple of days before. After some contemplation on my part, I decided not to buy tickets for the hop on hop off service and ended up being yelled at and called stupid by the top view sales clerk. Completely unprofessional and will not be using this service ever as a result. Top view watch how the employees you send out to Times Square to sell tickets are treating tourists out there. Completely unacceptable to call someone stupid because they choose not to use your services. I also noticed from the night tour I did that the buses are old with worn tires, definitely a safety hazard.
